Preflight Checklist:

These items are required. Please review this list before continuing. This will prevent possible resubmission of files and delays with your order.

  • Double-Check Your Files for color, size, fonts and resolution.
  • Elements closer than .125" from the edge may be trimmed off.
  • No RGB — Make sure all images are converted to CMYK or Grayscale.
  • Resolution — Images should be 300 dpi.
  • Do not "stylize" or use "Multiple Master" fonts.
  • Do not use JPEG compression on images.
  • Proofread your work — Mpress Digital is NOT responsible for the text in your files.
  • Hairlines thinner than 1/4 point size may not show up on your printing.
  • Front and Back — Save as separate pages or files.
  • Rich Black — Large black areas (the size of a quarter or larger) should be specified as 60%. cyan, 40% magenta, 10% yellow and 100% black.
  • Bleeds — please provide a .125" bleed where required.
  • Color — CMYK (process colors only)
  • A word about color: Mpress Digitial runs offset presses at 175 lpi using industry standard, vegetable oil based process process color inks (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow). Some colors (such as metallic, flourescent or very bright colors) will not reproduce properly when printed using process colors. The colors on your finished job may be different than your inkjet printer produces and will almost certainly be different than what your monitor displays. If you are concerned about color, we STRONGLY recommend you order a "Hard Copy Proof" when placing your order.

Postcard Printing Policies:

About Design
Mpress reviews files for technical errors/problems which will result in the job not being able to be printed on our presses, such as trim violations, layout size, fonts and unacceptable file formats. Mpress does not review files for design errors, image resolution, typos, misspellings, or postal regulation compliance, nor do we comment on design decisions made by the client.

Payment
If you pay by credit card, your card will not be billed until the order is ready to ship. If you pay by check, we will not deposit the check until your order is shipped. We must have the check in our possession before we begin working on your files.

Deadlines
Postcards will be ready for pick-up or shipment within four (4) business days after proof approval. In order to make a printing deadline all your order information, valid payment method and delivery of press-ready files must be received by 2 pm. Our staff will do their best to work with you on re-submission of artwork, correcting files problems and securing payment information, however, once a deadline has passed, files are added to the run on a space-availability basis only. If no files are received for a job, or if the files fail to meet the submission criteria, you will be moved to the next available deadline and notified by customer service via email. If you are mailing your files on disk, your order will be processed the day it is received and will be placed on our next available print run.

Return of Product/Product Complaints
In the case of a product complaint you will need to notify Mpress Digital of your issue within five business days of the receipt of your product. We will request information on the nature of the product complaint and research the matter to determine whether the issue is a design error, file preparation error, production error or shipping error. In most cases, either a reprint will be offered in the case of a manufacturing issue or a discount on a future order will be offered for minor manufacturing issues. If there is a design error involving file setup including scanned images no discount or refund will be extended.
